Music is a big part of my life, playing music that is.
Anyone here play any instruments? Or anyone play in any bands(school bands/rock bands), or do any kind of solo stuff?
I've been playing guitar for about 5 years now, drums for 2.
I kind of just randomly one day decided that I wanted to learn guitar. So I went out and bought one, learned how to play from Youtube, and here I am now.
As for drums, I played snare drum back in elementary school, but never really thought much of it. Then junior year, after playing guitar for some time, I decided to buy some drums randomly. Nothing beats the feeling of break a stick over the snare drum.
Anyway, I do play in a band. A post-rock/ambient/indie band, if anyone knows what post-rock is. (I usually have to explain it to people) But we've been doing good. There isn't a lot of bands locally that don't play death metal, so we've been getting good exposure. Anyway, enough talking about me. Anyone else?
