Hi all, I just wonder: What do you think reasonable prices for web design and services are?

That's actually cheap Compared to what we take for it in Denmark. I am just about to negotiate on one for around 1417 to 1771 dollar. Well. I am just seeking out to see what you other guys think is reasonable.

IDK, depends how much you have to design, how much effort you put into it, how challenging it is, the customer etc. Find examples here ==> themeforest.net/

Basically, for me to make money, I don't give an actual price. I water mark my designs and present them, once there is a offer, I negociate, once I receive payment I release. Simple But as far as actual prices go, it varies that's why I follow my system.

Poet, thanks. I do agree with you. Teg, hmm. Interesting system. I know Danish web firms - the bigger ones - easily take around 1,500 to 2,000 dollars for a simple website.

In the US, they range from 25$-1000$ or more. I guess it depends on the quality of them and what the clients are willing to pay. Not to mention if it's for personal or business use. Businesses are more apt to pay big bucks, where personal website clients are not.

Businesses are more apt to pay big bucks, where personal website clients are not. Unless it's a small, local business. In that case, they just need to find someone who understands their situation and will work with them.

I'm the "oh I'll do this for you, sure I'm glad to help!"-type of person, so I've actually never charged anyone for a design. :l Sigh!

^^ same here. I just recently got offered a job updating a website design that's been out of date since 2004... so I had NO idea what to even give her as an estimate, so we basically just worked something out where I would do the work and she'd pay me along the way with what she could afford.
