Wanted to give you guys an update on the progress of Threshold, the new skin for SD. - View it at sd10skin.proboards.com
- Layout is done
- Working on icon images
- Please tell me if you have problems with the layout. This is what it looks like in Opera 11.60 on Windows.
Known bugs:- Firefox does not do rollover color-change on the menu
- Internet Explorer does not do rollover color-change on links, rolls-over with overline/underline
- Internet Explorer does not do rounded corners
- Internet Explorer does not have the breadcrumb in the bar above the page content. Instead it says "Welcome to [Forum Name]"
- Certain content areas (new post page, reply to pm page, etc.) do not have rounded corners
- I will not be releasing an inverted color scheme by the end of the week. If there is interest, I might release one in the future.
I hope to have the images done by the end of today (about 10 hours from now). If everything is going well, I will put the new skin on SD tomorrow and save backups of all of the old skin files.

Nice its looking great Sam, great work. I noitced there are spaces next to Home, Search, Login and Register but I take it there will be others like Admin, Logout, Profile etc There isnt a wow factor about the template as in there is no main feature of the template but I like the clean, freash and plain design as it lifts the doom and gloom of the current skin we have. I really like the info center and the boards as the white is a much nicer colour. The Pros: Nice and clean template Colours are much better Like the rounded corners The Cons Header Image to me looks slightly empty? I know you mentioned that you are going to release a colour scheme so I am lucking forward to that! Great job overall, cant wait to see it fully installed on SD and hopefully we can draw some interest to the community boards

This looks fantastic! :-) Really good work! The hover doesn't work in Chrome either, but it's still pretty awesome! EDIT: I took the freedom to correct the navigation + Logged in as bar. There was an error in the codes when clicking on the name. Nothing big, just a faulty URL in the code. I corrected this skin.breadCrumb.lastChild.lastChild.appendChild(document.createTextNode(pb_displayname)); skin.breadCrumb.lastChild.lastChild.href = 'index.cgi? action=profile'; to this skin.breadCrumb.lastChild.lastChild.appendChild(document.createTextNode(pb_displayname)); skin.breadCrumb.lastChild.lastChild.href = 'index.cgi? action=viewprofile';

Thanks for catching that one, Christian.
I think the reason that some of the effects are not working correctly is because of ProBoards' lack of a DOCTYPE declaration in the main site code. I can't do anything to change this, but it causes different browsers to run in their various "Quirks" modes, most notably IE.

I could try take a look at it :-) You've done a great job.
IE should die. I would gladly dig a grave for it. Sweet Jesus, the amount of problems I have had with that browser. I don't even think v9 is better than 7 or 8.

One thing I would also change is the board highlight colour. Personally I dont like the grey and I dont think we need it really. Not sure what you guys think?
