Does anyone use this social networking media? :-) If yes, why, and if not, why? I am here, if anyone would like to network. I would love to since a lot of professionals use it EDIT: Forgot to include my mail: jinoh@live.dk

A network like Facebook, just without the "fun". It's like a resumé online but also used by millions of professionals and ALSO headhunters! I know a lot of people who got hired through it. Try take a look at my profile! Another edit: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LinkedIn

Haha, well, it's existed longer than Facebook, I think. It's without the games and as they state it, for professionals. Huge names, CEO's, managers, even students are there, hoping to get a network they can gain from

I do have a LinkedIn account. I think it's a brilliant way of getting connections to larger companies and corporations.

Yeah, I don't think it can really compare to Facebook, etc, because it's more on a professional level. Facebook is strictly personal (or at least that's how I see it). I do have an account there, just recently opened it, when I saw that my dad had invited me. I haven't really used it, other than filling out a few things and connecting with (mostly) my family. But I can see how it can be incredibly useful, career-wise.

It really mustn't be compared to Facebook - it's something else! I think it was even created before Facebook. If you want, we can connect? A broad network is always good!
