Why hello there. Making an introductory thread seemed obligatory so here it is. My name is Elizabeth and I'm from Denmark. The name "Poet" was quite random, so before you ask; no you do not know me. Who knows how many people used this name before me. I don't really have an alias, but I have many nicknames, so I guess that counts for something. Poet is not one of them, by the way. I'm 19 years old and currently studying internet and communication technology and management at DTU, the Technical University of Denmark. My interests and hobbies? Well I do quite like designing; both websites, forums and good ol' fashioned image designing. What else, what else? I enjoy making music, and I'm the lead singer and pianist in a small band. What else, what else. I do parkour? And fencing. I'm a sport-o-holic. Also I play video games. Now don't go all: "ooooh a female gamer, what do you play? Farmville? SIMS?"-on me. No. I own both a PS3 and an Xbox... Just to play Playstation Move and Kinect! I love Kinectimals, ammagad its so kewt eeeek! JK JK, no really. I don't play that. Don't look at me like that... (Alan Wake, Prototype, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, Socom, Gears of War, Forza, blablabla) Oh also, hobbies: I make comics! Now, how did I find Shadow Designs? I was browsing on Slightly Insane and... You know... Just saw the affiliaties and boom bam I'm here. Anything Else I Would Like To Include? I used the introductory thread to help me figure out what to write. I bet you couldn't tell! EDIT: I love how this one post made me an "Elite Member". I feel awesome now. EDIT #2: <= God, that smiley is cheesy.

Perhaps! You never know (; I might upload some, who knows, but I'm the 'Gollum'-type of person, if you know what I mean.

Well hello there, Elizabeth :-) Good that you feel awesome! :-) I'll look forward to seeing you around here, even though we've just come back from daaarkness. Should be great with some experience here, though. I would love to see some comics from your hand? Oh, and by the way. Another one from Denmark, huh? Så har de andre sikkert ikke noget imod, at vi lige siger ordentligt HEJ! Post scriptum I would just like to say: thank God you play games too Can I say you're cool without being cheesy? Oh-ho-ho, my comics are strictly confidential and will not be published. Ever. Nah just kidding - I have nothing of "value" really, so nothing worth looking at. Yet! I'm working on that however. [DK] Jeg har i så fald intet imod at give dig et godt gammeldags "goddag!" med på vejen, når du nu er en fellow-dane. [END OF DK] I do my best to be cool, rather than cheesy. Also I shall do my best to be active and social in here -- as I always say: a web-forum is as active, as the most active user. And since I am an internet addict, I will therefor haunt the forums of this site, rather than just staring blankly at google.com like I usually do. cheesy cheesy cheesy.

If you ever need a portfolio website, I'm your guy! Well, I will look forward to your activity. We need a little spark to get going, but we are not starting again from point zero

I shall remember that! I'm a hat when it comes to website-coding and stuff, so I will let you know whenever I become a world famous artist! BY THE WAY I was wondering - perhaps a chatbox would help the website get more active? When people browse the internet, they like finding chatboxes where they can leave questions and such.

Oh. I am personally against a chatbox Except if I could code one myself for the forum, because those damn Cboxes etc. are s***. I hate them - it's the trauma from Proboards in 2004. I could code one eventually? I have created some alike scripts - like an unfinished Wuhuws.dk website e.g.

Really? I have quite good experience with cbox.ws, to be quite honest. But of course it is up to you. It would just help bring some community to the board. Some chitchat, ya' know? If you could code one, that'd be pretty neat

Hello Elizabeth, my name is Jay and I am known as King Cobra (The owner and founder of sD) Glad our affiliated partners are helping us bring in new members, however the activity has dropped quite a bit for the past month or so! Your a very talented person if you can do all that! play games, in a band, make graphics/codes and also make comics! I hope you do enjoy your stay here and help make sD the growing active graphic design it once was 4 years ago >_< If you need anything just drop me a PM and i'll be happy to reply ASAP

Rockmelt is awesome! It's just like chrome, but more social Wuhuws reminds me a bit of twitter.

Well I do like Rockmelt, since I am a Facebook and Twitter addict, and Rockmelt covers my needs by keeping my FB-chat in the browser at all times, and I have a Twitter-feed right by the hand - just one click away. I find it quite handy.
Saw your PM - will answer soon, but right now I'm working on an assignment for tomorrow ([DK] pokkers sidespring!) - i will make you the most awesome reply EVER tomorrow!

Yea! Perhaps it was just me being nervous about the security of letting Rockmelt access all my info all the time I'll stick with my current browsers. I'll look forward to that. Some life at this forum would be awesome!

I'm usually very paranoid, but Rockmelt hasn't really made me feel uncomfortable. It's strange, actually. Heh.
Will reply your PM now!!

Must be a good thing Anyway I can only recommend Rockmelt, if you're interested in connecting your Facebook. If you're not, then the browser is just like another Chrome
