Well over the past few weeks, the staff team and myself have been noting down some very great interesting ideas which we would like to incorporate into Shadow Designs. Some of the things have already been done (Board modifications, Best of SD, New staff, Welcome/Info table etc to name a few). But we still have plenty of creative ideas left that will surely make Shadow Designs fully enjoyable even more to the members here in this community. I would like to inform everyone of whats to come and it all depends on the right time and people.
Top of the list is a brand NEW SKIN,
We have been talking about the colour scheme, board layout, integrates etc and even looking for someone to code (Reverse Blade, Anish) and someone to design (any takers?), once we find out who will code what and who will design what, we will get everything in place and get the new skin up!
Awards/Achievements
Something I think should be added but we have only just started talking about it. Unfortunately all my staff are busy and away (Amanda, Christian and ScottCool) so its just me and April who are trying to keep things flowing here on sD. We have the lists of awards/achievements which members can receive by doing various tasks etc. Something which has never been done before in Shadow Designs.
More Contests and a Credit System thingy!
We would like members to start Contests and something for everyone to get involved with, we have started a few (SOTW, Caption Contest, Word Unscrambled) but if you know any good enjoyable games then why not start one?
We are also working on getting a Credit Point system thing going so every time you win a contest, you will get sD. Credits!
Pretty cool right? By gaining Credits you can unlock/purchase some very cool prizes once we have our shop open to the public. All still in works.
A Dream still in the Works .COM Domain!
Yes something which I have been after for a very long time
hopefully once Amanda and Christian can return back to sD we will start discussing plans for a new .COM domain which I know would be a big part in getting recognized. We will have a new Donate button up soon for anyone who would like to donate any amount of money in making this dream come true and will be placed at the bottom of the forum or in the info table at the top. All donations will go towards Shadow Designs and for a possible new Domain!
Suggestions & Ideas
Please as always, we want to hear your suggestions and ideas in making Shadow Designs an ever so growing active community, and by doing so you will be helping us become one of the last active top Graphic Design Communities left on Pro-Boards! So why not tell us your thoughts and ideas right here and we will replay back in a 48 hour period.
Do we have a lot to offer, or a very few? Tell us what you think!
We have a range of boards for pretty much every person to talk about including hundreds of topics, games, discussions, Resources and many more!
