I remember seeing that movie in the theatre awhile back... it was really slow to take off, since I guess it was filmed in a documentary type of way... but it turned out being an okay movie from what I can remember.. the weapons were awesome at totally obliterating people  |

I agree, In fact the first time I seen It I didnt like it very much.
But I seen it yesterday and actually enjoyed it, theres suppost to be a prequel to it from what i've heard.

I have only seen it one time... I dont like movies that are filmed like documentaries.. I didnt like the movie from what i remember of it though.

The first time I saw this movie I didn't like it, I didn't understand it. But i did watch it a second time and it wasnt that bad..

I love the idea, for some reason, even tho' it is not very original, at some point. Lovely graphics, but I still think it's strange, that the aliens and the humans can talk. You know, having different languages and all.

I saw District 9, First cheering for the humans, then at the end cheering for aliens, I guess that was the desired effect, and I also heard that there would be a sequel, District 10, and it would be another one of these encounters, but more of like a Skyline type one.
